my car is running very rich... i can smell the fuel while i'm driving... also, there's some kind of back pressure; i hear popping sounds coming from the exhaust... is there a problem with this? help please.

You should also check your car for leaks (especially under the upper intake manifold area). There's a common failure on RX7's with the pulsation dampner which can lead to fires (yikes!) if not taken care of. Better be safe than sorry and check!

Just remember that a banjo bolt doesn't do a PD's job, but makes sure it doesn't leak and cause a fire. Whichever is more important to you, you have to decide. I'd have to search and find specs.

Summitracing.com has it:
Earls part number 997591
Not sure if this will work or not:
