ftp vents?? info??

ftp vents?? info??

saw these in another post...anybody knwo anything about these vents replacing the ftp? where to get em? how they're made? etc...

the headlight covers the airflow path so they are non functional, never seen those before, they look like one-offs.

edit: they appear to just be FTP housings with the lenses removed and some mesh installed at the rear of the housings.

they don't look too difficult to make, just requires a heat gun, some gloss paint, mesh screen and some adhesive.

hmm while my motors gettin rebuilt and ported i just might have to attempt makin some of these...(judging by the smell of the exhuast im thinkin it's probably gonna need the rebuild)

I am working on making a set now...they are coming along great...I'll post pics when they are done...If they come out good I may work out a deal where if you send me your good condition ftp's I'll mod 'em and send em back (for a small fee of course).

hmmm perhaps...i was going too look into how to do this myself as well...havent pulled my ftp's off yet though..let me know when you're done with yours for sure
