FTP Lense clean up.

My FTP lenses are fogged up and lookin' nasty. Anyone have a way to clean them up so they are clear again? I'm gonna be installing a new bumper and I got new turn signal lenses, but new FTPs are like $180 from mazdatrix. And when I install this bumper I want it to be blingin'.

3M sells a product to clean plexeglass boat windshields. I don't rememder off hand what it's called but it will clean and shine with great results. If you have a boat dealer there like Boat US or something ask them. It's kind of like a fine polishing compound for plastic.

You can take Mothers Mag and Aluminum Polish to them. It will take a few times depending on how severe the haziness is. I know that wet sanding will work as well. May want to consider spraying a layer of a clear coat on them afterwards.

+1, cheap and there are several brands to choose from. I used another brand (forget which one though) several weeks ago with great results. Went from a 5.5 on a 10 scale to about a 9.2-9.5. Almost like new
