Lightbulb ::FSM woes... for s4 to s5:: researched

iv researched and studied the FSM the ecu pin outs on the chassis plug to s5 t2 ecu and to the s4

im not 100% sure about doing this on my own even tho my friend adapted and runs a stock 13b-re cosmos ecu in his GTUs and t2 ecus in fb's but of course all paid to have it done. now im forced to go s5 since s4 turbo blocks are getting harder to come by for my already converted t2 base model, and also im broke like everyone else here and busting my *** to not cob-job this. and no i cant afford the TIME or MONEY into a micro tech now, i need this car runing for school and work since my daily broke down and i cant afford the repairs and parts (95 Cadillac
el dorado)

what i need is feed back from somebody who's done the work them selfs and if they can provide a wiring diagram or even better what pin out i must swap because i know its a few wires and stupid easy to do if it took someone an hour to work on ..... from the FSM one would figure you'd get the pin outs and understand it or expect to find the wire color code index. i get lost on the s5 ecu diagram unlike the s4 FSM. we can all say its a s4 to s5 swap and i PLAN on posting up the work since theres nothing likewise already archived

i have everything from a CAS wiring and cut s5 chassis pug sitting as i try to figure things out..

ALSO before i forget i can always run the s5 t2 block and transfer s4 t2 hardware on to it running the s4 t2 ecu i have now. i have a jdm ( high imp ) s4 t2 wiring harness and some s5 t2 injectors so im pretty much ready for this method also EXCEPT one thing thats bothering me and thats the spacing difference between the spark plugs on the s4 and s5 housings, i cant seem to find much settled details on whether or not this will effect performance ( drivability ) and cause ignition issues like timing, misfiring or detonation

so if i can get someone to shout out any thoughts for me to i really plan on archiving this information

Read the words of LUCIU$ here: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ghlight=WIRING

More or less forget the words by others on that thread...for now.

There's another guy that did this in the last six months but my memory fails as to the name. Someone in the Bahamas or Caribbean (sp).

ok now BEFORE that (im having trouble understanding the write up and the fsm stuff) wouldnt it really be easier to just swap the bare block and reuse the s4 t2 hardware, im premix btw and have 2751 blockoff plates if thats the case? because remember im worried about the ignition timing difference due to the sparkplug hole spacing, if thats nothing to worry about let me know
