Wow. Very thorough and well done .

But, red threadlocker on the brake rotor screws I have a hard enough time getting those out as-is.

LOL, remember that I have to drive this car in the streets of Baltimore which rivals any Third World in bumpies and potholes. I am not taking any chances
Besides, did you notice the little dimples on the screws? That's from using a punch to make them turn and get them out. So I had no confidence that I could put in as much force to put them back as I took them out. Next time I will install new screws.

Wow, great job. Mazdatrix's website photos are always too small so it made me uncomfortable about doing this so thanks =D.

I get my parts from Mazdatrix. I had promised them those photos for their website but I totally forgot about it until now.

Actually you do not need those screws at all. they are only a convenience when installing the rotors, keeping them seated to the hub until the wheel goes on. ive got no screws on my hubs (all four corners) because ive had to drill ever single one out from them seizing into place.

But very nice pics, ill have to remember them for when my suspension gets redone, ive a full set of bearings to install still....3 years later.

Nice job overall.

+1 on the screws - you don't need them. And I certainly would not put thread lock on them as will be an absolute bear to get out next time. An impact screwdriver is a nice thing to have to get them off.

I would also recommend a new cotter-pin rather than reusing the old one. They are cheap and you certainly don't want one to break and pop out since it is the only thing keeping the wheel from coming off.

great job, it looks like more work taking all those pictures than changing the wheel bearings
