ok so, my front washer pump dosent work with the switch (s5 non-turbo) I tried another switch and that didnt work. I also threw power to the pump itself and got it to work. what else is in line with the washer pump between the switch that would go bad?

2. my cruise control switch is broken somehow, when I push the main button it it dosent stay on, just returns to the off position. I tried an s4 switch i got from the junkyard and it works, but it dosent fit the surround properly so im hoping to fix the original one, what broke inside the switch? thanks

 

S5 cruise control switches turn on only momentarly. The cruise control computer keeps the light on. Sure you have a S5 cruise control computer?

I'd test the washer output of the wiper switch to make sure it is sending a signal. Are you getting 12 volts out on the washer wire at the switch (when you press the washer button in)?
