Front right headlight, air flow. :)
So, I have seen on occasion, the modification where there is a slit / hole in the front right headlight to allow air to flow to the air filter, if there is a cone.
I have a cone filter, the type with a cone inside the middle, and a custom fabbed airbox. I would like to modify the front right headlight to allow better flow. Has anyone done a how-to? I was thinking about making a mold in plaster of my current headlight cover, and then making a fiberglass cover from that, and applying needed mods.
I was also thinking of making it so that I can cover or plug up the hole when it is raining, because it does that often around here.
If I look through the gap just slightly above my headlight, between the hood and the headlight, I can see the center of my cone filter. But, given the preasures involved, and the small area of the slit + the rubber there to keep water out, not much cool air gets to the filter.
Any ideas and suggestions are very appreciated!
