Front Primary Fuel Injector; 12v at Injector; 3.xV at ECU. Help pls

As the title says; I'm having a problem with the front primary fuel injector not firing. I can get the car to start, but that's it. It runs terrible. The front primary fuel injector shows 12volts at the injector plug and the injector ohms out. The ECU pin for the front primary fuel injector is showing 3.xx voltage. The other injector pins all show the correct voltage at their plugs and pins.

Does this mean that the driver for that injector is bad and I need a different ecu or something is wrong in the wiring?

It has 3 volts w/key to on or 3 volts w/key to start. It would make a difference. If it is with key to on then chances are either the wire from the ECU is pulled back with in the injector plug thus not mating properly or the plug itself is loose from the injector.

It has 3 volts with the key in the on position. I guess I can play around with the plug on the injector and see if I can get more voltage from it.

It might not be just a loose plug though. If the wire is pulled back then just playing w/it is not going to accomplish much.

haha, I feel like a retard; I guess in a way I am in this situation. I was just coming back to say that I fixed it. The wires were both getting pushed back when I plugged it in. I had two connectors and I just put it all back together to start it up and make sure that was my problem.

So, even if you see a small amount of voltage at the ecu and you get 12 volt on the wire; make sure that the wires inside the connector don't move any.
