front mount and powersteering?

a few of the kits i have been looking at are saying that p/s needs to be removed such as the on on corksport... is there a simple way to route plumbing and keep p.s and idk if it would bother a/c or if i should go ahead and remove it.... pics would be helpful as well

bottom line, i want my powersteering and a frountmount...

Every kit allows you to retain the ps and ac. You just have to be smarter than the intercooler kit...

Take for instance, this ebay kit:

So where's the rest of the piping? The missing connection to the throttle body is going to be a big-time bee-ahch. I was going to run my piping the same way, until I realized it would hit the brake booster. True, I was using 3" pipe, but I still think you will need a weird-*** bend in a smaller pipe to terminate that.

I used a slightly modified 1st gen p/s bracket to mount my pump down low. You will give up A/C this way though. Here's a pic:

Well, at the time I took that pic, I was waiting for a silicone reducer. The Greddy elbow is 2.75", and the piping was 2.5". Just fyi, silicone couplers are flexy, so I for that specific bend, I just used a regular old 90' bend and sort of flexed the pipe back towards the black of the engine by. I made the bend a little shorter on both ends, and the straight pipe coming towards that pipe was made a little longer. That way, it clears the brake master cylinder reservoir.

It's just some ebay kit, I think it was cxracing or something like that.

Let me go take a pic really quick.

Or you can just relocate your underhood fuse block and move the power steering lines a little, which is a little eaiser than trying to mate an FD UIM on a TII engine...

The piping comes really close to the brake master cylinder reservior, and may hit it a little when the engine torques over, but it doesn't harm anything.

Why don't you guys pull out the oil filler pipe cut it and weld it into a better shape. That way you pipe doesn't have to go around it.

I have cut mine down significantly. They only push into the centre plate. With a rubber hammer and some twisting they pop out.
