Front mount intercooler questions??

Front mount intercooler questions??

I just want some thoughts on the best place to mount a bov on a front mount intercooler setup

Cuz i heard to go to the turbo side and others say go to the intake side. What is the diferance? Is one better than the other?

You want it as close to the throttle body as possible. This way has the least impact on intake velocity and won't create waves in the intake charge like mounting it by the turbo. Some say put it close to the turbo because it will fight surge but that's pointless on a rotary since they don't really have that problem, that's more of a low rpm diesel truck issue. Hence, the antisurge compressor housing on all the deisel truck turbos you see.

I need some more thoughts. I recently heard that it is better to mount it by the turbo. Someone said the turbo will spool up faster after getting off the gas and then getting back on. I just want to put the bov in the right place. Which is better. Intake side or turbo side?

What about running 2, on by the turbo and one by the tb?

mine is similar to the pic above, on the throttle body side. I have also heard that it is better to get it as close as possible to the throttle body.

If your going for the "bling affect" thats fine.. But the optimum place is closest to the throttle body as you can get. There wouldnt be any need for two.
