Does anyone know of or have a front mount intercooler that would fit a 87 T2 that they have gotten for a good price? any and all sugestions are welcome. I saw one on mazdatrix.com but for 2g's.

 

You can buy an isuzu npr diesel truck intercooler core for about 275, and have pipes made. Should be less than 600 total. Others have used the starion/conquest fmic, but I hear its a piece of ****.

i bought a nice custom made FMIC before for 250 USD shipped in a group buy.

It was nice and big, and pressure tested to 30psi i believe.

no, they look to be 295 atm.

Still a good deal imo, they also sell mandrel piping if you know how to weld, make your own charge pipes.

buy a core, have it custom welded and make your own piping! that Is by far the most economic with the best results... if you are looking for easy buy a greddy kit... if you are looking for cheap just frount mount your TMIC
