#5 but keep the top holes a touch narrower than the bottom big one.

I like number 4 but I think the holes should be not quite as wide, and a little lower.

i have this thing where i am nerotic about symatry.they all look good but need some small adjustments. like moving them up or down to put them on the same lines as the lights they are next to and I would plut them at the same width as the bottom opening. i think it would cleam them up alot. overall i like 6 but would remove the two small holes.

He may be doing something similiar, but it is actually a pic of my car and photoshop.

I know the lines and the symetry could be cleaned up some.. it was just kind of a rough mock up.

thanks for the comments so far guys, keep them coming.

not sure why you "need" the extra airflow, the hole in the bumper is large enough already....

have you made sure your cooling system is 100%? did you remove the bumper and try to see if the guage works better then?

Just as long as your cars bumper dosen't turn into the Perfection board game, I think it will look fine.

lip spoiler

hey where can i get a cheap lower lip spoiler so i can make that modification the thew fron opening(enlarge it), i am good with fiberglass and the body man painting my car is also very good at stabilizing things, but i dont want to spend more than around 200 for the lower chin spoiler(any ideas) if i spend more than that i may as well get the bomex clip or the corksport one, also have any of you ever checked out the fx designs kit? go to www.fxdesigns.com and check it out i am not sure if its just a lower lip spoiler if tis a complete bumper, someone with some insight on this can inform me maybe well other than that nice work in photoshop and the pics all look good, #6 is the best, but I also think that those small slits above it should either go, or be made level with the FTP cutouts. my 2cents

yeah.. before I do any cutting and what not, I am going to be removing the bumper and drive it around and see what happens. This is the second radiator, different type, that I have had in the car. I have replaced or swapped out everything with teh cooling system other than the the efan and the motor itself. In cold weather the car will run normal and will not get above what i consider normal 88c, but when it gets hotter as it is getting in florida when i get under boost it will start to climb very rapidly above 92c or so and take forever to disipate the heat.

What are you going to use to cut out the bumper?

FYI you can't do any of those unless you remove the bumper behind the cover...

behind all those holes is the metal bumper. no air will get in.

but I also need more air too. I'm hoping my soon to come reverse hood scoop will help alot.

i figure some type of really fine tooth jog saw, something similiar to what 1fast2t used. And then sand it down to make the cuts smooth. I will for sure though test it out on the bumper on my other car.

Yeah, I am aware of the bumper support, and I realize that I would have to strategically cut it or remove it entirely. I do not want to remove it since it is still a street car, But I do not have a problem cutting it some.

Behind what holes is the support? The ones on top or the big one at the bottom?

A little of both, but more on the top ones.
