frest s5 t2 start

CA frest s5 t2 start

hey guys i have a couple of question on my build. i have s5t2 with no emission going to a s5 na. car will not start for hrs then i swap the cas out and it started just fine with a little be of floating issue with the fuel the when my electric fan kick in the car shot off. and will not start again. i replace the cas with old one and started again then i turn of the car and samething happend car will not start and the CAS is gettting really hot im assuming the is a short with fan wiring so i removed it. any imput on why the cas is heating up is that normal ? any help will be appreciated trying to make it to seven stock this november lol. thanks

The CAS is heating up?! That is so very, very wrong. There is no current to the CAS under any sort of normal operation. It's in fact a generator, making two sine waves according to engine speed which start out at only a few mV during cranking but can reach over 70V when the RPM is high.

If it is getting hot, then something terrible has gone wrong somewhere.

Posting a little detail about the swap will help. Did you do a direct swap with everything TII into the NA? Try to use the NA harness? What ECU? Maybe post some pics of the fan wiring? Did you do anything silly like remove the BAC valve? Details please.
