fresh wax snaps
we finally had some favorable weather on LI today thats supposed to last throughout the week and news like that calls for a lil washing. I spent a couple hours today, wash n wax...came out nice!! since the GVR4 is ready I may keep her in the shop this way till we swap motors in a month or so (TII, FMIC and FCON baby!!)

The exhaust sort of looks like it's broke hanging so low like that. I wish they were up higher and more level with the car, other than that, that car is perfect
the last time it was washed a few weeks ago hehe, nice shot of the rims. ADR stage II, silver, 17X7 w/ 215/45 front, 235/45 rear sumitomo HTRZII. remember, my FC is an SE which means 4 lug hubs
the nose is just an S5 nose w/o the embossed mazda logo and the grille cut out with the corksport replica mazdaspeed lip. mine actually has a small crack (brother backed into it and his muffler made a lil crack hehe) so I have another one in my basement for the re-spray this summer and RE Type IV wing. the corksport pieces are really nicely made and the price is pretty decent (especially compared to the real lip, they are identical). The exhaust is the good 'ole Apexi Dual N1 and the color is actually the factory paint code, 2H Claret Mica (only offered in '88 I think).
that's a hot car you got there.. very well done.. another prime example of what an FC should be. NO more. more body work and it would look.. 'wrong'

yeah sideskirts look great on our cars. THat lip definatly make's the car, and the color is good too
I acctually dont mind the little rubber wing on your car, i think it looks sleek, and those rims.

I like the shot that looks like you got on one knee by the wheel. I want to rig up a bracket and put my video camera on it and drive down the interstate or go autocrossing or something. (nothing permanently mounted) That angle is bad ***, kinda like on the Grand Turismo replay.
I'll be keeping the NA hood for the TII swap...I searched for a TII hood but taking into account cost of finding one and buying paint it only turned out to be another $200 for me to get the GReddy kit (well, my price @ the shop hehe). Just waiting for it to arrive and we're all set...
the Dual N1 is always a love or hate in the style dept. they are angled exactly the same way and perfectly even but they are angled in such a way that they can look awkward in the 3/4 views. since i was planning a TII swap I replaced my custom 2.25 incher (w/ dunks) with the Dual N1 I found on the forums, locally and brand new (college kid needed money, it was still in the box...$500.00). I wasn't putting any rear skirt on the car so the mufflers give a visual drop in the rear which is good. got word that all my GReddy stuff shipped from Cali today hehe FMIC, BOV, boost gauge
JDM FTP lenses have a different pattern and come w/ a bulb and wiring to spice into the dims...new FTP's look so much better!! in the head on pic mine are on w/ the dims...need a brighter color yellow bulb though (for that lexus fog light look hehe looks good w/ the HIDs which are such great upgrades for the car
