Fresh rebuild, Haltech, FMIC...it all runs!!11!! [PiCs 56k friendly]

Well, the engine blew back in Dec and I finally got the car running! It runs great right now! The hot start takes just a lil blip of the throttle. So far so happy!

Want to thank Santiago a bunch for all his help, time, and parts!!!

What has been done:

Engine
-New rotorhousings
-RA seals w/ stock springs
-New cornerseals, sideseals, springs, oil control rings, oil pump
-RB template used on the porting (exhaust/intake)
-RA rebuild kit
-Oil pan baffle / stud kit

Turbo
-BNR 3 on a S4 hotside
Haltech E6K
Greddy FMIC Rspec core
Koyo Radiator

And so many small things it is just crazy.

Turns out that the reason it would not start after the initial start was because of fouled spark plugs. After two days of chasing that down...I put new plugs in and started right up! Thanks Jrat!

Buried in there are my three grounds on the engine..troubleshooting that turned out to be the spark plugs.

Haltech in the glove box...

Re-route your Vac lines.. NOTHING should be "T"d into your MAP sensor.. it needs the cleanest signal possible..

i run the FPR and the MAP sensor off the same line. bottom nipple, front side of TB. makes for smoother fuel tuning (per the hitman site anyways)

also, where'd you mount your haltech box? right there next to that ABS computer is a perfect spot, where you've got all that bullshit wiring nightmare and wideband box edit: i just saw its in the glovebox. not a bad place.

it makes sense too, the fpr is seeing the same exact signal as the MAP, so it should make tuning the fuel a bit smoother.
