Freakin cooling system!

So for a while now, the car has been loosing coolant to who knows where and has not been much pressure in the upper rad hose. I put a coolant system pressure tester on it and it held up reasonably well! So i left it on... Thinking maybe its burning coolant. I fired up the car started easily... No white smoke. It better not, its got less then 10,000 KM on the build. I start the car up i bleed the system and it goes into the expansion tank, i take it for a small rip... ADD COOLANT light comes on and the annoying buzzer. I take it home.. Where it sits, i think to myself what could the reason be. I start cleaning out lines and this and that. Change the thermostat and gasket.. Stumped as hell.

If your loosing coolant and you dont know where its going! and your pretty sure its not leaking out, and you are not burning any... BUY A NEW FREAKIN RAD CAP

What do you mean when you say you "bleed the system and it goes into the expansion tank?" The only "bleeding" there is to do on a cooling system is to get the air out. It kind of sounds like you are just plain low on coolant. How much have you put in from the start?

Nah, its all fixed now. The coolant was low but emptying the top of the rad sent it to the expansion tank, and while the car was running all the coolant would end up in the tank and it would not come back out! It was a ski-doo coolant system pressure tester that i got from work and it did not have the ability to test caps. The other tester i got was for the big diesel engines and had a cap tester, but was way too big.
