Freakin convertible top!!!! HELP!!!!
OK, it was working fine, I just got the car not to long ago (like a week or so...) and the top would roll down fine, it is a 1990 Convertible. But now, I unlatch the top, and push the button to roll it back, and all it does is beep?
WTF??? Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a tempeture switch, or something weird that I'm missing, and it just won't let you put it down when it's below a certain temp. Or what?
I'm totally lost on were to start looking for the problem! Is there anyway to manually roll the motor back, so that I can see if it is just jammed? Or does it have to be done electrically? Also is there a common proboblem that just happens on the vert, or is it just something stupid mine is doing?
Thanks, Cory

Too funny mine just did the same thing today. I went outside to take the top off and got the "beep, beep", but the top wouldn't move.
Came inside, logged onto this forum/ did a search and found this post.
Went outside to see if the ebrake was pulled up and to my suprise it was....so i thought "great, i still have a problem". I decided to get in the car anyhow and try again. I grabbed the ebrake and discovered, though my wife pulled it up it wasn't engaged.
Problem solved!
