Frankenstein engine??

I'm beginning to get really confused/frustrated with this engine. When I removed the UIM, I found that the previous owner found it necessary to splice a third plug for one of the primary injectors. I removed the injectors and found out that I have three high impedance and one low impedance.. on my s4. I decided to do the omp removal/ premix mod and when I went to plug the holes, I found that the bolts (10-1.0) didn't fit. It turns out the 10mm-1.25 fit perfectly and now I'm really confused because I was under the impression these bolts were the thread pattern for the turbo engines. Anyone have any ideas?

How do you know you have 3 high and 1 low? Have you measured the resistance? What year is your car?

The car is an 87. The plugs are different for the low and high. I have three offset plugs and one centered. There is no doubt that there are three high and one low. What I'm wondering is if there are any N/a engines that have the 10mm-1.25 oil injectors? If not then I must have a turbo block and most likely turbo rotors too.

I'm fairly sure that all oil injectors are M10 with a fine thread (1.25 I guess according to your post). I can't ever remember seeing one with a different thread and I have swapped the injectors across all 2nd gen 13Bs (and GSL-SE 13Bs) without issues.

Weird about your injectors though.

That would make sense that the other owner fooled with the injectors. I thought the thread was 1.00 because of the premix writeup here: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ht=omp+removal

It says double check but I figured someone would have said something if it was wrong by now.

Measure the impedance of your injectors with a Ohm meter.
also post the ECU number(like N326 forexample) and see if there is a resistor paclk on the car, near the AFM and shock tower/passenger side front.

It is the n326. I don't see a reason to measure the impedance because the plug tells me they are high. I did not see a resister pack either but I could be wrong.
