Franken engine turbo

Alright I have a 6-port 13b from a '88 with a 12a front cover in my '80.
I'm looking to go turbo using stock T2 parts.
I have the opportunity to pick up s5 T2 parts from a friend, other than the dremeling the lower manifold so the ports will match the engine will the s5 manifolds bolt up without any problems?
It's currently carbureted so I'm starting from scratch.

Oil feed can be grabbed from an oil pedestal. oil drain will need to be tapped at the front iron or added to the oil pan.

coolant can be grabbed at the rear iron nipple and drained at the nipple on the rear of the waterpump housing.

Are you receiving the harness and computer from the S5 T2 as well? Some sensors may not plug in to the S4 block.

except the turbo lower intake casting has reliefs which do not cover the 5/6th ports. it would have to be welded up and machined flat prior to port matching to the engine.

the other problem is there is no center hole for the LIM to bolt to the 6 port block, so the center ports tend to leak under boost.

So, it can work but it would be a better idea to just get s4 T2 manifolds?
It the s5 turbo better than the s4?
Never messed with fuel injection and ecu's what's the best ecu for a stock setup to get a little more tuning potential from the engine?

the S5 components work a little bit better. the reliefs are on the S5 and S4 turbo lower intakes, so both would equally have to be modified.

Alright. Internally will any of my components need to be changed?
I'm thinking about just running it till it pop and then rebuilding to a more correct format.

Nothing internally needs to be changed. You will, however, need a programmable ECU (at least an Rtek) since the rotors are high compression. Running stock injectors and ECU will roast it quickly.

I really wouldn't want it to pop after doing all that work, so if you think it's going to, then do it right. When an apex seal wants to break free, it'll find its way out... through your turbocharger. And the seal will win vs. the turbine blades.

I'm sorry I worded that pretty poorly.
I don't intend on beating the **** out of it till it pops, what I meant to say was run what I have till it goes. I don't really have the funds for an engine rebuild at the moment so taking care of the engine is very important to me. but if it does go south I would like to know if anything should be changed out internally for a different part.
Rtek ecu?
