Frame Braces?

Is there any benefit to running these on a car that's going to be mostly daily driven/spirited driving, and the occasional auto-x event?

example:

I never liked that product. I think a lower arm bar would do a better job in the front, I'm sure that anything needs to be addressed in the rear. I look at the "X" in the front and I just think it's mostly for decoration. Black91N/A has proven that there is flex worth bracing agaisnt between the rear pivot points on the front arm, but there is a much better way to do it and MUC MUCH MUCH cheaper.

For auto-x though it really depends on how competitive you want to get. BTW - you can be completely competitive with yourself

No linky but I found it by searching his user name, 2nd gen section and lower arm bar and it popped right up.

I've got a thread on TEAMFC3S in the Fabrication section detailing the one I built and it has a link to that thread. However, Team is down right now

Doesn't even require any special tools and is super cheap to build.

Just read it. Looks like something I might try to do. Did you do any work similiar to the rear braces pictured? Or are those pictured just solid mounts that replace the rubber connection pieces on the subframe?
