Adjusting the headlights position
Hey my headlights aren't properly lined up with the hood when they are closed. One goes down too much and the other a little up.
It tells you in the Haynes manual how to adjust them but what do I use to remove the white thingy they tell you to remove first? Sorry I can't find my manual right now so I forgot what it's called.
thanks!

Just turn the adjuster bolt. Don't bother messing with the linkage etc as the manual says. It make take a couple of tires with the adjuster bolt but it beat risking breaking stuff removing the linkage etc.
The adjuster bolt is the 10mm nut (may have to hold the shaft while turning the nut) between the battery and the head light on the driverside. Smilar place on passenger side. Has a little pad on it that the headlight assy hits when they are retracted.
Raise headlights up. adjust bolt. put down see how you like. Repeat until satisfied.

You need to remove the retractor fuse, or you may get your knuckles busted - the headlight will take off and go thru a raise/lower cycle if you only turn the white **** - be careful......
