still drives pretty normal. but its fairly mangled. doesnt lean either way if im not holding on to the steering wheel. tires dont seem like they are wearing unevenly. except my back drivers tire, but it thought that was just from me ******* around in the rain. do you even think its repairable? should i stop planning and fixing things on it? what would you do with this car?

 

Well, your first move would be to get her on a body jig and see how straight it is.

The pictured damage looks to be more body related than structural (i.e., suspension) and could be dealt with if the platform isn't horribly tweaked.
How you deal with it depends on your skill set, wallet and equipment availability.

I'd also be concerned about rust, judging by the pics.

 

would you say its next to no issue, or fix that before any type of rebuild or upgrades?

skill set = noob
wallet = thin
equipment = pretty much nothing, but i might be able to borrow some stuff from a friend depending on how nice he is feeling.

 

What is the deal with this car, you have history or a new acquisition?

I don't see a reason to stop fixing things, but id mainly focus on fixing things you can remove and swap onto another car...

like I wouldn't consider putting a nice paintjob on the car, or wasting money to "properly fix" that kind of damage,

but feel free to upgrade suspension,exhuast ,engine, interior,ect

then if u ever deside to make a nice car, buy a straight shell, and swap the goods

 

it looks like a pretty non structural, pretty easy fix, but you should check how straight the body is (at a shop on a rack), and then that piece needs to be removed and a replacement welded back in.

if there is nothing else wrong with the body, its worth fixing, if there is bondo elsewhere, you can pull it out a little yourself and add washers and stuff to get the body panels to fit, and it'll be ok

 

The alignment shop I have at my work can show if a body is straight or not. We can't fix the car, but we can see if its straight
