Personally I like this system: http://www.zeitronix.com/Products/zt2/zt2.shtml

but its not for everyone, its kinda on the pricey side, but nothing beats Datalogging

What is need for datalogging for the Innovate system? The said the controller is built into the gauge so wouldn't I just need a wire to connect it to the computer?

not 100% sure, I have never used the innovate system, I have heard they they can datalog but I do not know how they do it.

I was just trying to give you another option in your wideband choice, the nice thing is if you setup the Zeitronix setup the right way, you can get it to log more than your AFR

you can get it to datalog your:

-RPM's

-Boost (requires a boost sensor from them, extra $$$)'

-Exhaust Gas Temp (Requires the Sensor from them, Extra $$$)

-AFR

-Throttle Position % or V

-And your own voltage input if you would like (such as a sensor you want to monitor)

Heres a datalog off of my OLD car while we were dyno tuning it:

Here is a run threw the gears before tuning, N/A V6:

The Innovate MTX-L is the same but the LC-1 is build into the gauge. It seem like it is easier to install. Was there a reason you picked the LC-1 Kit over the MTX-L?
