Found a TII! Now the easy part...
my name is Grant, and I have been without a 7 for about 23 months now.......
I have found one.....S4 TII, 134k, white w/blue int, leather.
The only hitch is that it is not "for sale" in the strictest definition of the word, it is sitting in the parking lot of a local parts store/repair shop. The manager of the store gave me the lowdown, it does run, only with a small oil leak that the owner wanted fixed....4 months ago. He hasn't heard from the owner, and had no way to contact him, only that he worked at a local plumbing shop. Upon calling the shop I found that he doesn't work there anymore, and again, no contact info.
When i find this guy, i was wondering, should i offer much? its probable that the engine is original, although it shows no signs of molestation...mods, bald rear tires , or the like. It is actually TOTALLY stock from what i can tell.
just wanting to get back in the triangular, rotating saddle....

get the vin number, and do a title search. If the car is open maybe the insurance card is inside and you can contact him that way. See if the manager from the parts store will let you check to see if you can get into the car. That would make finding the owner a whole lot easier.
Heh, maybe the title is in the glove box, just go get it transfered to your name, then its yours for free! JK

Um, I would take care of getting the title straighten out before plunking down your hard earned cash for it.
Stuff like this can be messy, and you really don't want this **** biting you in the *** later down the road!

yea, like I said, do a title search, or try to contact the old owner. Theres a black TII sitting around here that has 60k original miles in it, the keys in it, all the original documentation, owners manaul etc., and its unlocked, its been sitting in the same spot for years at this storage place, and the dude wont sell it. Too bad the title isnt in it, or it would be mine now, hahaha.
