found pics of a large street port!! what the hell... do they work??

I think you will be fine but you might want to work on your runner a little. You will want to remove some of the material I high lighted in yellow

I don't know about you, but I like my engines to last past 5,000 KM.

Besides why make huge j-ports like that when you can make an easy and reliable peripheral port? You'll make much more power, and have a better behaved engine with no change of internal water leakage associated with j-ports...

i was thinking the same thing. i don't know why people try to patch together crap that won't last and then tell people that is the way to go.. those irons are hideous to me, may as well save a few bucks and have some PP rotor housings fabricated up. looks to me like someone had too much extra time on their hands to me.
