Found out reason for no start, new problems, new questions

I own an 87' s4 NA.

Well today I finally got around to going outside and working on my rx7. My dad and I checked the EGI main fuse and all other fuses, we checked the egi main relay, we checked everything the haynes manual said to do including the connector behind the rear left strut tower. So, I popped off the access plate to the pump, and I noticed that the screws holding the pump in are absolutely rusted and dirty as hell and look like they could be easily stripped. I sprayed them with some lubricant...some heavy duty **** and attempted at cleaning them with a pick and a really small screwdriver. I tried to take one screw out, but the screwdriver just wants to strip it...it doesn't want to turn. I really have no clue on how I should go about taking these out without stripping...it seems impossible.
Any tips?

I was also poking around my engine bay with the haynes manual and I noticed that the last guy who had this car was an absolute retard. The 6-port actuators are gone, the sub-zero starting valve is blocked off with a nail in the line...theres a random vacuum nipple on the back of the intake thats exposed and the power steering pump is gone and its a power rack! I didn't buy or trade for this car yet, the guy I got it from said he'd give us awile to diagnose the problem and get it running...infact it needs a lot of parts. Needs power steering pump, 6 port actuators, new PD wouldnt hurt, headlight motors, horn relay, radio, matching interior, hatch carpet (melted with like acid or something), needs fuel pump now, body work, re-paint as clear coat is peeling, rust repair on hood and fender, also the sunroof.

Now my questions are, are s5 6 port actuators compatible with the s4 manifold? RX7 parts are very scarce in my area and I know of 2 s5s at the wreckers which I can get these parts from. If the s5 6 port actuators arent compatible with my manifold should I just do the 89+ intake conversion? I saved the guide and it seems like a perfect time to do it.

I got my fuel pump screws out with vice grips, a hammer, a chisel, and a lot of patience. I got new socket- head bolts with the same thread at Home Depot. No more stripped screws for me.

wow lets see here. I don't think S5's will work on an S4. I put an entire S5 NA engine in one of my S4 cars (great setup) I tried putting S4 actuators in the manifold but they wouldn't work. Now, do you know if there are any 6 port sleeves in the manifold. Maybe the reason there aren't any actuators is there's nothing for them to turn. If you are to put an S5 intake swap in it you will also need the S5 bottom fuel rail and you will need to keep the S4 TPS, you will need to swap the oil injection rod from your S4 intake to the S5, the rod will need to be bent a bit. In other words its kinda hard to do and the dynamic intake you will have to figure out . I used a seperate air pump with a rpm sensitive switch. kinda complecated. Um vise grips will take the screws out for the fuel pump hatch and I DO have an almost new 88 NA fuel pump. It has less than 1000 miles on it. The cold start injection should just be taken out anyway. Its useless. Thats why its taken out and blocked off. any other questions PM me.

Alright thats awesome, i guess ill get at it with some vice grips...but if I break them im fucked.. unless i put vaseline everywhere if i have to drill them out.

Well I guess I'm SOL, I really don't wanna just pull the manifold off now to check if the sleeves are in there...I think I'm gonna do the s5 intake swap...I bookmarked the write-up on it, so if I print that off follow that and the haynes manual I should be fine.

Those screws may come off with a manual impact driver (the ones you tap with a hammer). "Princess Auto" has them, but out of stock in Mississauga - don't know how far that is from you.

I'm about an hour away from Mississauga, theres a couple Princess Autos around here though, theres 1 in Barrie and 1 in Newmarket, both of which are closer than Mississauga. I'm just gonna try the vice grip method.

The Mazda dealership wants 700 bucks for a new fuel pump! LMAO whose that retarded? Napa wants 400, Canadian Tire wants 281...I may just get a used one from the guy I got the car from...but I don't wanna wait that long.
