found loose wire dont know where it goes

I was doing work on my belts, and after finishing, I noticed that there was a wire I hadn't seen before that was loose. i couldnt find and where it could plug into within reach and I figured you guys would be able to identify it in a heart beat. Its green and black to the left of the alternator.

Sound like the electric fan thermo switch plug. It's not used on your car unless you have a switch in the thermostat flange.

edit: I can't see your pic, but I'm sure thats it

Yep...
It's for the thermoswitch for the electric fan(?).
It should be connected to the thermoswitch which is located...located...you don't have one. :P
You see that hole right below as you follow that cast aluminum piece right below the radiator cap?
That's where the thermoswitch would normally be.
