Foglights : possible repost?

I just purchased vert foglights for my 91 NA. Is there a harness already in my car for the foglights? Or will I have to wire it up myself? What do I have to do, if I don't have the harness, to make it work with the foglight switch inside?

I really don't know what your talking about, but I'll tell you what I've experienced. If the lights are aftermarket, then they have a ground wire coming off of them. That wire gets grounded to the body of the light holder. Kinda hard to explain without pics. We then used a jumper wire from the stock plug (positive) to the aftermarket light (positive), since the aftermarkets obviously don't "just hook up".

EDIT: OMG a link...

Go to 2nd gen modifications. Then H3 foglight install.

YUP ALL S5 have the harness installed already.
All you need is the (stock or aftermarket) foglights, (stock or aftermarket) switch, and the stock relay that goes infront of the radiator..

I used the stock switch, aftermarket lights mated to the stock harness, and a relay from the light sistem, aslong as it fits in the stock plug it works..

quite simple...

Anyone know about an s4? I guess it doesn't come with a stock harness but can it be done semi-easily with the right aftermarket stuff?

I've got fogs on my S4, but the previous owner had it done, so i don't know if there was anything special they had to do. I do know the switch to turn them on is nearly straight down from the center of the steering wheel at about knee height (when sitting, of course), and that it's wired up so that they only come on when the headlights are on.
