Fog Lights Placement Question

Hi All!!

I am looking into installing a set of fog lights and wonder if it's possible to install it on the brake vent slots? Would this hurt the performance of the front brakes?

I cut out the black painted area on the sides of the radiator opening with a dremel. This gives room without blocking the break ducts.

I think the fog lights look good in the grill.. I used existing holes cut in the body and the lights fit right in there. Here a pic of the finished product:
