fog light question

i had to drill through the rusted screws for my foglights on my fc... (i just recently bought the thing and the fog lights didn't work) i assumed they were just burnt out and the screws were stripped and rusted so the previous owner didn't bother changing them.. so yea they're burnt out, but the bulbs are 30 bucks each, and for a whole new kit for fog lights it's 30 bucks and also i would only have to pay 3 bucks for an H3 bulb instead of 30 for the mazda H3 bulb.. i was wondering if it's worth it to just get the new units for 30 bucks or just pay the 30 bucks for each bulb... and if i DO get the new unit, do i have to re-wire everything? i'm very unsure on how to do this, and will I be able to keep the original unit but put in the new wiring so i can plug in the normal H3's.. but do i have to rewire to just do that?

god i hope that made sense to atleast someone. I searched, couldn't find anything on this matter..

thanks for any and all help.

get whatever you want to get. if you buy new ones, my guess would be that at least you would have to clip off the wires from the old ones and attatch the new ones that way. unless they use the same kind of adapters.... not really sure. i just got some new foglights the other day and have yet to instal them.

a really really nice thing that removes rust is sumthin called pb remover. wholy **** it works great! just spray it on, wait like 5 min and rub/scrub it off. it's killer. and some fog lights come w double stick tape too. dunno who easy/hard it would be to aim them tho.
