fog light help

fog light help

hey,

this question most likely has a quick/simple answer but for some reason i struggle with it! im trying to take out my fog light to replace the bulb on my 1990 tII... i took two screws out that were towards the inside of the lower lip and it seemed really loose.... but something is still holding it in there and i cant figure out wat! its really pissing me off and soon im just gonna ****** pull the whole thing out so plz help me!

if you look straight at the front of the fog light there are 2 screws facing forwards on one side... undo those. there is also a plastic clip on the other side.

you pull the whole thing out. then undo the wires.

ok the plastic clip... i felt something holding it in towards the outside of the lower lip but i cant see it... plus i couldnt unhook it... I was shaking it like crazy but it wouldnt come out...

I had the same problem. Jack the front up and remove the plastic brake duct under the fog light. Then you can push it out from behind.

The plastic clip on the one side is a bit tricky!

Carefully use a blade screw driver and insert it between the light body and the clip (you may need a flashlight to see exactly where), while the blade of the screw driver is releasing the clip gently pull that side of the light housing out.
