fmic with stock turbo???

Will I see any benifit? I am running 12lbs on the tmic and I have haltech. I want to keep the stocker for now cause I am happy with the power. I have the cash to go to fmic but I am just not sure if I will see any hp gains. Its does feel like I loose some power after 15-20min of driving though.

the tmic sucks for everything, you probably won't see a HP gain from the FMIC, but you'll not lose power when it gets all overheated. Just make sure your cooling system is in good working order. If you have any issues there it will become apparent once the flow is further restricted with an intercooler.

you'll have a little bit lower response because you'll have a lot more volume to fill up to 12 psi, but it wont heat-soak so the power will be more consistant

yea 12-13 is maxing it so hes fine. the tmic is really the hinderance.

do it right and do all the supporting mods for a bigger setup before actually doing it. I think your smart going the route of FMIC and other mods first (currently what I did) .. that way when you do BNR or bigger turbo setup you dont have to go hunting for parts or risk damage to your engine from not having sufficient cooling/fuel mods.

well I have no A/C so that removes 1 heat exchanger
I also have a Koyo upgraded Radiator I tend to see about 185 max water temps (190 on stock sensor run through haltech)

I have been running this setup for a year...the turbo is toast. I have a new one on the way.

Yes I did supporting mods first....720 injectors, haltech, koyo etc etc.
