Question FMIC mounting issues

Hi there, just got my new TII engine swap from Japan2la. (Great condition engine by the way, at least as far as I can tell.) Anyways, I don't have a TII hood so I bought a cheepo FMIC from ilovetacotaco on ebay.

I don't know how to mount it or anything like that.
Sorry, I'm a complete turbo NEWB!

Any input would be greatly appreciated,
Please and thank you,
Scott

depending on what kind of mounting holes you have on the intercooler core you may have to weld on aluminum brackets, usually one up top in the center and one on each side at the bottom..

Do you have pipes? You might have to measure and cut some pipes to fit if your intercooler didn't come as a whole premade kit. There are plenty of threads about setting up a FMIC, just search for" front mount intercooler", or "FMIC", there are tons of discussions about premade kits like the GReddy and HKS kits vs the cheaper ebay setups, plenty of pics of pipe routing and everything else you ever needed to know.

mount it any way you like... just be creative...

i used a steel bar that runs all across the bottom of the chasiss and bolt and weld that **** on... and then just drilled the intercooler and bolt that **** on...

this is how i have mine mounted

the bottom is just a flat bar that goes across - bolted to that plastic thing that surrounds the thingy where you adjust your flip up lights.
