flywheel teeth
so i was trying to pull of my flywheel with a puller and in the process i ripped the teeth ring off. i took a closer look at it and it dosent look damaged. but i just wanted to make sure that i didnt ruin my flywheel. and can i just heat it up and hammer it back on with a soft head hammer?
also i wanted to know since the flywheel is "tapered" i dont know what that means...but anyways i just tap on the surface of the flywheel and it will come off?
searched but i didnt realy get it...o and im disassembleing. the whole engine.

Ya know thats funny when i was doing my auto to 5sp swap i had my flywheel sitting on my porch, well i came out the next day and my tooth ring was sitting to the side of my flywheel?...tripped me out i tell ya!
also if your having trouble loosening the big nut, take one of your longer tranny bolts and screw it in the farthest tranny bolt hole down to the right..now take another thick bolt and find the deep hole on the side of the flywheel and put it in there.now you can cross them and the flywheel will not move.
