2-1/8th inches or 54 MM.
Be prepared to have some way of taking that thing off too,as
it is Torqued on pretty good. You have to make sure the flywheel is not moving when you put the impact gun to it.

I took a piece of the engine stand and added it on top the breaker bar to give an idea.

Thats strange because I took mine off with a 2 and a 1/4 with a 1 inch impact at a machine shop last year. Is it because I have a reman engine from Mazda? It fit pretty tight?

Stock Nut torque spec should be around 280-370 ft lbs. Usually people get to to at least 350 lbs to be "on the safe side"

cuz if that nut is loose when you're driving say bye bye to your leg and your life.

and usually people put Locitite Blue (sometimes Red, rare) on the nut to make sure it stays in place.

Use a propane torch to heat it up a little bit before using an impact, the heat will destroy the glue and you should be able to get it out easy(assume the impact has at least 500-1000+ ft lbs of force)

and the nut is 54mm. I have that socket for breaking it loose. and a Racing Beat bar to get it to 350 lbs easy.

Torque wrench + socket works too (to tighten it) but a TQ wrench that can go 350+ ft lbs are expensive.
