Is this flywheel any good???

Im not personally sure if this flywheel is any good



Any info on this would be great like if its junk or worth keeping around.

It looks like a lightweight aluminum flywheel. I am not an expert, but it looks like the clutch surface could use replacing.

Do you know what brand it is?

its a 12lb light weight no name flywheel. like i said im no expert but i figured it could use a new friction plate but i figured i would throw it out there

probably would be fine but obviously replacing the friction surface would be a good idea to keep the new disc from chattering while it cuts away all that shitty rust.

ask some others on this but get some super fine grit sandpaper nad wet dry sand until shiny. I did this on a friends steel flywheel in a subaru beccause the engine blew and then it sat for a while with the engine out so the flywheel had burnmarks and was all rusty. Put in the new engine after sanding and everything works great to this very day. That was nearly a year ago.

Thats exactly like my flywheel, which I think is made by Racing Beat. Even if its not, the friction surface looks the same, so you should be able to get their replacement friction surface. It costs $90.
