Flywheel

WRONG - turbo and N/A are different sizes, there are different counterweights between the series and some aftermakt flywheels (I don't know who, but I know they weren't stock) have the weights cast into them. You need to match the counterweight to the series of engine and the flywheel to the tranny. If you bought an S4 N/A flywheel and dumped it in an S5 turbo car, the starter to flywheel contact would be all fucked up to the point where you would probably sheer teeth and or destroy the starter & if by some miracle you got it started the motor itself would be out of balance which would make for a really bad day. So the answer is NO, YOU WOULD HAVE TO TRY HARD TO BE MORE WRONG.

Thanks a lot Titatium, Actually all of you guys.
I did check for few manufacturers, such as Exedy, Fidanza, ACT,AASCO.
If I remember correctly, all listing are for turbo.
The reason I ask in this forums because, sometimes the manufacturer doesn't
even know that it will fit for diffrent apllications.
People here have somewhat similar cars, have tried it, done it and beleive it or not
know more what would fit on the car.
I did a quick search keyword "flywheel" or "Flywheel non-turbo"
and I guess I am just too lazy to read like 20 Pages of diffrent treads pertaining to flywheel. Sorry about that guys.
So If nobody makes a FW for NA, then we'll just settle for the OEM one.
Just thought that I asked , a lighten FW (After market) would be good.
The car is old I don't even know how may times the FW has been resurfaced.
Again thanks alot.

Mazdatrix - Really Racing Beat, and SR Motorsports offer them. I BELIEVE ACT does, don't quote me. Unless you're replace the clutch though, or have done alot ALOT of other mods, a lightweight flywheel my no be worth the time or $$.

flywheel for my freind. ( BTW it is not my car-freind).
Since you are in there might as well change everything. You don't want to do the same work twice.
I'll look it up or give them a call.
Thanks
