I'm trying to stiffen up my convertible. The NB Miata is .4 of an inch narrower than an FC. Realizing that the Miata is quite bit shorter, I wonder if the flying miata butterfly brace would fit side to side. Somebody out there must have an NB that could measure the distance between the frame rails for me.

There's another thread where the poster installed frame rail reinforcements. The whole butterfly would be so much better.
