Question The FLOWTECH Raptor™ Turbo Performance Muffler?

Has anyone ever used The FLOWTECH Raptor™ Turbo Performance Muffler???? I need to get mufflers for my 1988 TII and was told this is a cheap, yet solid solution.

Yes, I did a search already.

Here's the deal:
Rotary engine exhaust pulse waves are sharper (more violent) and hotter than a piston engine's.
They can actually fracture the welds on most baffle type mufflers, especially if used in the pre-silencer (x-cat) position.
This is also more of an issue with NA's than with turbos.
Just make sure you get a warranty.

heh yeah I wouldn't use a raptor. It's a cooler named cherry bomb pretty much.

Save your money and get a good exhaust like Racingbeat or Corksport. They are made for our cars and will add HP and last.

What about a THRUSH TURBO MUFFLER or DYNOMAX SUPER TURBO? And any ideas where I can buy Racingbeat muffler? I do know it will be sold with warranty. My car is a TURBO II.

well.
www.racingbeat.com is where you would get them.
They are some what pricey but they are a proven company with low /deep sound with good gains.

The corksport catback is around 300 and is loud but good for a turbo application. I've got it on my GTU and plan to see 10psi when I get a downpipe and the TII conversion done.

Also if you haven't don so remove the old down pipe and get a better flowing one.

Both Corksport and racingbeat provode whole systems.
Corksport will be cheaper but you go to single exhaust instead of dual.

I don't know about those other mufflers but like stated above our exhaust is hotter and more violent. Anything related to a glass pack will be burned and wasted in a couple weeks.

You'll have to ask the sellers. I've gone to muffler shops and just mention rotary and they instantly say they don't have anything.
