the meter fuse keeps blowing. I've tried the FSM and searching, but it's not turning up too much and i would like to have the car fixed tonight. Before it blew i re-grounded the ECU as described in the archives and i was also messing around in the hatch area (dicking with the power antenna). any help?

 

It controls all of your gauges, and i believe your dome lights and such. I can't provide a wiring diagram, however the list of items that the fuse is protecting is listed in the FSM available at www.iluvmyrx7.com

I had this problem once. Turned out to be a blown reverse switch on the transmission. Of course it was the last thing I tested because it is under the car. Unplug it and see if this solves your problem.

 

what all does the reverse switch do?

 

Turns on the reverse lights

 

if this turns out to be the problem, what do i need to do?

 

check the wires at the switch, and if necessary replace the switch.
