Flooding - leaky injectors? Searched!

Hey guys, my car has an unusual flooding problem. It only floods when hot, when it has been sitting for half hour to an hour.
When dead cold, I can turn the car on and off repeatedly every 10 seconds and it will not flood and fire straight up. When started within the half hour to an hour bracket, the car will start perfectly when hot.
If it is left a couple hours, the car will again start perfectly.

This leads me to believe my injectors may be leaky, as the car starts fine when hot unless it has been sitting for 1-2 hours? And it starts perfectly when cold.
Would leaky injectors cause this? As when sitting for a while they may drip slowly, but after a couple hours fuel may have evaporated?

thanks

REALLY common problem.

Do a search and there will be lots of different fixs/explinations.

My advice
Install a fuel pump switch, or get a Rtek, there are a crapload of other things but those two are the best and/or easiest.

Yes, it is a really common problem. And yes I have a fuel pump cut off switch, but I am trying to determine the root of the problem.

I assume if the motor had low compression then it would be difficult to start anytime when hot, and repeated stop starting the motor when cold would also flood it.

This is why I'm asking whether my theory about leaky injectors is plausable before I pull them all out and get them checked.

Yes, leaky injectors cause a lot of this. Send them out for a cleaning, it's cheap, and will get them working like new.

The OP is in Australia; he's probably going to want to find someone local to send them to. Witchhunter is great though ; I use them too.
