All FC's from the factory came with pop up lights. Some people have modified their cars however, so that the lights don't pop up, or only pop up half way.

yeah, it almost looks like he cut out the top of the ftp lens out, cleared the area, and took out the fuse for the headlight motor.

seems like a good guess...

also about the whole taking the fuse out, he didnt have to take the fuse out in order to turn the lights on without having them go up. theres a little *** you can turn that will stop the motors as well. if you didnt already know.
this an easy mod just takes a long time.

The **** is to pop the headlights up without turning them on, so you can change the bulbs or clean them.

Not the other way around.

You must pull the fuse, or hold the high beam lever out as you drive. I wouldn't recommend this, though.

I drive with my lights shining thru the FTP holes. I havnt used the acctually flip up feature in a while.. I guess it also helps that i have Piaa fogs. Occasionally i'll flip the lights half up.. or a quarter ways up

-Markus

"Last time i plugged the fuse in for each headlight motor, one light started flipping up and down NON STOP" CHEERS!

Yeah how can you drive without the lights popping up? The parking lights wont give off enough light I dont think. Idk maybe with all that stuff removed.

Someone needs to write an article with a lot more pictures, because 90% of the population are visual learners.

I was going to include a schematic, but very few people can read them...I have made a note to include a schematic in the next update.

I'm thinking about making a completely bolt on headlight kit, that goes less than halfway up as it does now...

It will have to use different lights, and a modified arm for the retractor motor
