flip up headlights
do all fc's have flip up headlights? i saw one today on my way to work that looked like it didnt have flip up lights.. like they were built in under where the usual headlights are... does anyone get what im saying... is this custom or did they do this with a certain year?

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
All FC's from the factory came with pop up lights. Some people have modified their cars however, so that the lights don't pop up, or only pop up half way.

also about the whole taking the fuse out, he didnt have to take the fuse out in order to turn the lights on without having them go up. theres a little *** you can turn that will stop the motors as well. if you didnt already know.
this an easy mod just takes a long time.

putting it down daily
The **** is to pop the headlights up without turning them on, so you can change the bulbs or clean them.
Not the other way around.
You must pull the fuse, or hold the high beam lever out as you drive. I wouldn't recommend this, though.

I drive with my lights shining thru the FTP holes. I havnt used the acctually flip up feature in a while.. I guess it also helps that i have Piaa fogs. Occasionally i'll flip the lights half up.. or a quarter ways up

I'm thinking about making a completely bolt on headlight kit, that goes less than halfway up as it does now...
It will have to use different lights, and a modified arm for the retractor motor
