flash to pass lenses?

i've heard alot about people getting rid of their flash to pass lenses, usually by just covering them with bondo or what not. does anyone have pictures of this? thanks

I just went in through the hood, then UNSCREWED them NO need for bondo or whatever. Just loosen the bolts, then take 'em out. I put some wire/mesh in mine to make it look more professional (gotta paint it though).

Here is a Pic.

I had my intake side removed and had my driver side painted for a while. I had to clean my cone filter more often - kept getting sand and bugs so I bought new FTP lenses last month.

When the intake side was removed, I noticed zero improvement in power and now that I have new lenses it looks much better.

Thanks!

I dunno, I just found it in the back of the garage, my dad was building a shed and had that mesh under the floorboards and over some plastic to keep rodents from getttin under the shed

I think he bought it at Home Depot, it's probably pretty cheap.

Looks. It makes the front of the car look a lot meaner, IMO.

I never like it either..

So i don't do it...

But, its a completely reversable mod, so it doesn't earn a rice rant.

I think some of those guys just get rid of it because they are either in bad shape or they are missing one

Correct!

My right side one fell off some time ago, and it looked stupid with only one, so I took the cheapskates route and took it out.

Does that make me a riceboy?

I filled in the FTP in on my convertible. I think it makes the front-end cleaner (my opinion) However, if you plan on doing it, whatever you do ...... don't use bondo to do it it will crack and fall out in no time. I used special compounds made for repairing plastic bumpers to do mine.
