fixing seats

On my driver's seat, the part that sticks out on the right side (if you're sitting on the seat) that keeps your back from sliding around has been "pressed down" over the years. The shape of that part has become flat enough that it rubs against the center console which makes it hard for me to lift the lid of the center console. Is there any way to re-shape this part of the seat into place? Or is my only option to go to the junkyard and find another seat? I like my seats already, don't want aftermarket seats
