Fixing buzzer

I remember someone said that the buzzer is in the CPU. What part is it in? I need to see if its still there in my GTU. I don't know if it just fried or if its gone completly but I haven't had the plesure of having it go off at redline yet

The redline buzzer is different than the CPU buzzer. The Redline/low oil/low coolant buzzer is built into the gauges.

For the CPU Buzzer, I use the Digikey P/N 102-1114-ND 12volt 2.04khz buzzer as a replacement.

For oil, does the buzzer measure low oil level or low oil pressure?

Low oil level in the sump/oil pan.

Is there a different PN to have a different sound before redline, it's useful, but annoying..

ok so what does the CPU buzzer do? when does it come on? I don't get a redline buzzer so I guess I need to check out the cluster.

Eh.. I dunno about you guys but I think that buzzer can burn in hell. It's insanely annoying when you're trying to drift the car or drive it hard.

I actually don't mind the buzzer, my car hits redline FAST in 1st and 2nd gear, I would like an alternative that dosent sound as annoying though..

It's a beeper, not a buzzer. Seatbelt, key-in and headlights-on warnings.
