Question fixing the burn

I am in the process of fixing my 87 TII from where it caught on fire, and i was wondering if any body else has fixed there's. what all did you have to replace? Also how much vaccume line do I need to get in order to replace all of the lines? If you don't mind could you make a list of everything and how much it cost.

If you have emmissions then your going to have to re-hook all that stuff up. But if your in a non-emmissions state just go with a stand alone and pre-mix. You will probably spend less money like that than buying all the stock junk unless you find it really cheap used.

Describe what is burnt and where. Vacuum hose is dirt cheap at the auto store. You don't need silicone big buck pretty colored vac line.

I bought a totalled turboii that the harness was burnt to a crisp and spliced in about forty burnt wires give or take. Take a good look at the injector wiring, the fuel pressure regulator and the injectors/grommets. We need a description of what is burnt. How long did the fire last etc.

Was the fire confined to the right side of the engine??? etc

it is mostly to the right sid it burnt all of the fuel injectors and the wires are showing. it did not burn for long. i have 4 new 550cc injectors a new fuel press reg, 3 fuel lines and a new emissions harness. i am going to get all new omp line and injectors and a pd or banjo bolt. i want to keep the omp stuff b/c i dont want to worry about premixing. i will be having the engine rebuilt by kevin L. in a couple of mounths and i will lose the emissions stuff. i will be buying the "silicone big buck pretty colored vac line." i feel that things should be done right and no 1/2 assed to save time and money, b/c i have the time and the money to fix it the right way. the stand alone will be acouple of years down the road when i get a new turbo and other stuff.

Because the things you listed were just about all you need. Your getting the harness to replace the burnt one. You getting new injectors oil/fuel. You got cheap with this remark *pd or banjo bolt* after talking about money being no obstacle/going to do it right etc. The vac lines at AutoZone are just as good as the stock ones were when they were new. Buy a new PD, no banjo bolt. That's for people who are doing things on the cheap due to circumstances that we all can relate to. I ain't poor nor cheap. Middle class honky. I just ordered two Crane HI-6 for my car from JEGS. That ain't cheap. I also use AutoZone vacuum lines.

You probably already checked to see if the hoses to the bac/ airsupply valve/ airbypass solenoid/turbo inlet duct/bypass valve etc are good or need replacing. That was a given and assumed that you had done that.

And my forty splices have held up just fine for the last year and a half. Cheap is me.

And buy new grommets for the fuel injectors. All the grommets plus the o'rings.
