Fixed highspeed vibration..sort of. what else is wrong?

well, i went thru my car and messed w/ it a little tonight. i did and oil change w/ some castrol GTX, 10w40. and a good ol Fram Tuff Gard. cuz it has 98% 'single pass efficiency'. the highest % i could find at walmart. my list of things accomplished:

Clean 15 years of smoke tar/nicotine off windows from prev owner

RainX outside windows.

powerwashed Every inch (wheel wells, underbody, engine compartment, etc)

cleaned hard-to-remove oil resin from rear bumper @ muffler outlet

Waxed it (it gets prettier each time i wax it...hmm)

Remove rattling heat sheild from manifold.

Remove head sheild from empty PreCat1 (Before it rattles)

Mount MAF/cone filter to strut tower (used to just rest on AC lines)

Replace zip ties on 6PI actuators.

*replace missing lower rubber trans mount w/ Washers.

the * is the key element to ridding my car of the high speed vibration that it was plagued w/. the bottom mount was totally GONE, the trans could move up and down about 15mm. i took up the slack w/ 4 washers, and tightend it back up.

its ALOT more solid feeling, seems to Shift even more solidly, and surely. the only diff is, i can HEAR the gear whine now. its SOOOOO loud. i feel like im INSIDE a car w/ a race transmission on GT3. thats how loud it is. but its only in 1st and 2nd. 3 and 4 are quiet. 5th, is noticable, but not Nearly as loud as 1 and 2.

- is this gear whine normal?

-it still shakes bad at 100+...think it could be unbalanced tires? (its not my driveline shaking anymore)

-i can hear a whirring noise coming from under the car when i press the clutch, and the rpms jump up about 100-200 RPM. throwout bearing?

thanks
chris
