Don't bother, while it will be 5 lugs, you won't have the very valuable 4 piston brakes.
Sorry, never done the conversion, but I'm sure someone else can point you in the right direction

Yeah just get teh turbo setup, which has the bigger rotors and brakes. BTW I have a set for $150 plus shipping complete with everything. Also got t2 suspension, etc.
All you gotta do is unbolt your parts and bolt on the 5 lug ones. Up front thats like 4 17mm bolts and the tierod which is another 17mm bolt with a pin. The new stuff bolts up identcally.
OUt back its a bit harder: you gotta have the 32mm nut for the axles, after thats removed and the exle is loose inside the hob, there are 2 17mm bolts and nut sets and a big *** like 21mm bolt thats a real bitch to get to. After that it comes right off, you bolt on the new one, etc. You never have to take the axle off the rearend...just slide the hub off of it, then when reistalling the new hub hold the axle in the hole until its installed and you can start the bolt for the axle.
THe brakes are the only compicated part really. You gotta use the hard metal lines that come on the 4 pistons up front, and connect them to your soft rubber lines that end on the strut. Out back the lines are identical. Then you just bleed the whole system, and youre ready to roll.
ID allow a whole day unless you have a nice garage and air tools, in which case you can do it in about 4 hours.

The 89 and 90 GTU had the 5 lug stuff, but small brake rotors and clipers like a 86-8 base had on the 4 lug cars, except the rotors are a bit bigger then the 4 lug ones. ITs not wortht he upgrade unless you get a cheap deal on some 5 lug wheels you really like.
Let me know if you want that 5 lug stuff, I have other interested parties.
