fitting aftermarket speedo/ fuel guages
with the Use of an FD Apexi Power FC on my 2nd gen FC.. the only clocks currently working are the speedo and the fuel gauge...
well at santapod last weekend my car was on half a tank of fuel ALL day including the 2 hour drive home!!! :smash:
so thats clearly buggered!
with that in mind, i have plans for something pretty different for my new interior..
but In order to really go ahead with them I will need to either replace my current speedo with an after market one.. ORR figure out how to get it to work standa alone.
so my questions are..
'is there an off the shelf solution for speedos, how easy are they to sort, how much is it going to cost me!
Same for Fuel gauge, who does them/how much.. are they easy to wire in!
finally:
how do peopel go about powering aftermarket gauges??? I have 4 gauges + rev counter.. and dont fancy powering them all from the ciggarette lighter wires :p
many thanks,
phil
