fit 225/50's in the front?
how may people here can fit 225'50's inthe front without rubbing? i got a 89 tII and i know that the rim wil handle the tire fine. i just dont know if it will ru the spring in front or not.
i have 225/50/16 up front with stock springs and shocks. i dont have any problems. i dont like that size id prefer maybe 225/45, that should look better.
than again i have some fugly goodyear hp's, those ******* are ugleeeee!

yah they are the stock 16 x 7. k cuz i am needing tires pretty baddly and i ddint know if that size would fit. yah i was thihnkin about the 225/45 also. but the same tire ina 45 series is almost ten bucks more thatn a 50/s series.
Crusader 9X- If you can spend it... get the Bridgestone S-03's. I have them and they are the best tire that I have put on the car as far as a street tire goes. 225/50/16's up front and 245/45/16's out back on stock '89 T2 rims.

It depends on the tire. Some tires have a wider section width than others. I run 225/60/15 Yokohama AVS dB on the front. No rubbing, but maybe 1/8" clearance to the spring perches.

I run 225/50R16s all around - fits and looks great. I'd go with Falken Azenis; they've got a great price for an even better tire
Don't go 225/45R16s, as it'll make your speedo read high for little to no gain.
